What was I listening to in July | In Association

I’ve skipped a few of my monthly playlists but you can find them on

my Spotify account
. I’ve been super busy the past couple of
months trying to figure things out for myself and enjoying the time
that I’ve had off. My
playlists were packed with fab music that you can go and
listen to. My July playlist has been on repeat as per usual and my
August playlist is going to be the same.

Let’s go through some of the stand out artists in my July

Who is featuring in my July playlist?

Larkins | In AssociationLarkins have two tracks that made it onto
this playlist, Wallflower and Sugar Sweet. I began liking Larkins
when they released their single TV Dream which was a hit. They’re
heading on tour in
and I’m hoping to catch them live. Their electronic
indie sound is right up my street.

Ed SheeranWith his No. 6 Collaborations project, how can I not add
Ed Sheeran onto my playlists? My particular favourites from the
album are Beautiful People ft. Khalid, Best Part of Me ft. Yebba
(who I mentioned in my ones to
earlier this year) and Antisocial ft. Travis Scott. On
this album is a track for everyone, Ed has covered every genre of
music near enough on this album.

Nothing But ThievesThese guys are one of my new favourite bands. My
sister got me into them a little while ago but I’ve just started to
get into them a bit more. Lead singer Conor has such an alluring
voice which is so unique. They remind me of The Hunna but with more
of a post apocalyptic sound to them. I’m addicted.

Who can you expect to see in my August playlist?

Sabrina CarpenterI’ve liked Sabrina Carpenter’s music for a couple
of years and I’m listening to her album, Singular: Act II, as I’m
writing this. I can tell you right now that she will be heavily
featured on my August playlist based on what I’m hearing right

Hey VioletI was given the chance to watch Hey Violet live when they
toured with 5 Seconds of Summer back in 2015. Over the past month
they’ve been releasing singles Close My Eyes and Queen of the
Night. I hope they keep releasing music because I’m here for it – I
need another album from them ASAP.

Charli XCXThere’s something about Charli XCX that means you can’t
hate her music. From her feature in Iggy Azalea’s Fancy, I love her
music and she’s been releasing some collaborations with other
artists like Lizzo (who I literally worship). She’s also just
released a single with Christine and the Queens who is basically a
French QUEEN. Chris is a brilliant artist and this collab is
