COVID-19 vaccine program head Dr. Moncef Slaoui said the first Americans to receive a coronavirus vaccine could get it as soon as December 11.
‘Our plan is to be able to ship vaccines to the immunization sites within 24 hours from the approval, so I expect maybe on day two after approval on the 11th or the 12th of December,’ he said on ‘State of the Union’ with Jake Tapper.
Pfizer submitted an emergency use authorization application to the Food and Drug Administration and a committee there is set to meet on December 10.
WNU Editor: As much as the Biden administration wants to decide on how this vaccine program will be administered, and even issuing warnings that many Americans may die because of the White House …. Biden Covid advisor says more people ‘will get infected and die’ the longer Trump delays transition (CNBC). It looks like the decision has already been made without them.
On a side note. I remember at the beginning of the pandemic all the specialists and experts in developing vaccines were saying that it would take a year and a half or more to develop a coronavirus vaccine, and even longer to manufacture and administer one. That there was also a very good chance that one may not even be developed.
It looks like they were wrong.
Will anyone now call this the Trump vaccine?
